Q: Is immediate cover available?
Yes. Follow the straightforward instructions as shown on our `Request Quote' page to obtain a quotation. We can email across policy documents within minutes of cover being incepted at no extra cost to you.

Q: How much will it cost?
To obtain a quotation please contact our office on 0845 226. Each quotation is assessed on the individual details disclosed to us and our subsequent insurers.

Q: How can I pay for my policy?
We offer our customers a choice of payment methods. You can choose to pay your insurance premium in a one-off lump sum by debit card or credit card (see below for accepted cards). If you would prefer to spread the cost of your insurance by monthly direct debit, we can offer a payment plan of eight monthly instalments subject to an 8.5% interest charge.
Choosing our direct debit facility will incur a 10% non-refundable deposit which must be paid by debit / credit card at policy inception and is only available for premiums of £500.00 or above.

Q: How do I view the policy wording(s)?

Q: How do I make a claim?
To make a claim or report an incident, please refer to your full policy wording where a claims telephone number will be provided. If you are unsure about any aspect of this, you may contact us on 0845 226 8559 where we will be happy to reaffirm these details to you. Please have your policy number to hand when calling.

Please note we are not permitted and do not have the authority to advise or deal with any questions relating to any claim or incident that may or may not have occurred. Claims and incidents are fully handled by our appointed and experienced claims handling team.

Q: How do I change or cancel my policy?
If you wish to change any aspect or even cancel of your insurance policy with Trailerprotector you will need to put your request in writing and send it to:

Q: What can I do if I'm not satisfied with Trailerprotector?
If you are not wholly satisfied with the cover provided by your policy or the service provided by Trailerprotector you have the right to cancel your policy. Please refer to the back of your policy wording for further details of what to do if you are not satisfied by any aspect of your policy or by Trailerprotector.

If you choose to cancel the policy within 14 days of receiving your hard copy of policy documents, providing no claims or incidents have arisen, you will be entitled to a full refund on the premium you have paid. Anything outside of the 14 day cooling off period will result in a pro-rata return premium, less the administration fee to take into account our costs in providing the policy. Please note, that are no refunds available on the liability premium of your policy.

You are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS at http://www.fscs.org.uk/
