Trailer Protector forms part of the Insurance Protector Group (IPG). Here at IPG we pride ourselves on being able to offer a friendly, customer focused service and naturally we wish all of our policyholder's years of claim free experience.

However we fully understand this may not always be the case and some of our customers may be unfortunate enough to experience a loss and/or damage to their property.

This can often be a time of worry and uncertainty. All Trailer Protector claims are handled by professional claims handlers ensuring our very high service standards are adhered to. We genuinely believe Trailer Protector customers benefit from the service provided by our claims team.

If you are unfortunate to suffer a loss or experience damage to your trailer,
please follow the full claims procedure as set out in the back of your policy
wording.

We have put together a useful check list so your claim will be dealt with efficiently:

1) Contact our claims department as soon as reasonably possible on 0161 835 5553.
2) Provide full written details of your claim as soon as reasonably possible, and always within 30 days
3) Take all reasonable steps to reduce and prevent any further injury, loss or damage
4) At your expense, provide all information and evidence (including written
estimates and proof of ownership and value) asked for.
5) Send in every letter, claim, writ, summons or other legal document you receive in relation to the claim
6) We endeavour to make sure all claims are dealt with as fairly and efficiently as possible. Please allow the claims team all reasonable time to fully investigate and resolve your claim.
